Thanks Sharon! This was painted on Hot Press paper. I could drop the color into each petal and then had time to push the pigments around with the brush because of the surface. I also paint outside and had the warm breeze to work with. I can't always duplicate the same conditions to paint indoors and will get different effects.

Hi Kerri!!! I hope you're well and doing lots of work! I'm going to make an effort to do more for my friends here, voting and faving their art, plus watching of course. The one thing I wasn't doing was voting in contests if I was in them also, especially if there was a chance I could win since I don't ask for votes but after realizing contest mean nothing to me except exposure, I decided if I see one of my friends with a special painting, I'm going to vote for them, regardless. This one got my vote. It's gorgeous.
