About Kerri Ligatich
I live in a tropical rainforest and often use flowers and foliage in my work. I'm in love with the beauty, healthy lifestyle and Aloha spirit I found in Hawaii. My work also includes ocean scenes and my favorite, "Honu", Hawaiian Green Seaturtles. I grew up in Oregon and that is where my art education began. I was blessed to be taught by many great artists. I love to take a technique and explore new creative ways to use them. Adding gold leaf to my watercolors is another favorite of mine. Later I taught many classes myself in Hilo, Hawaii. They have a lot of Maternity paintings and photos since the times artists begin to draw with a charcoal on a cave's wall. But not so many Grandma's and Grandpa's, like this one. And though, our love for the little ladybugs is not less intense. We would die for them, aren't we? This is full o love! fav. & v.
