I can watch the breaking waves all day long. I think of all the generations before me who sat on the same beach watching as I do. This photo was taken at Hapuna Beach located on the Big Island of Hawaii.
About Kerri Ligatich
I live in a tropical rainforest and often use flowers and foliage in my work. I'm in love with the beauty, healthy lifestyle and Aloha spirit I found in Hawaii. My work also includes ocean scenes and my favorite, "Honu", Hawaiian Green Seaturtles. I grew up in Oregon and that is where my art education began. I was blessed to be taught by many great artists. I love to take a technique and explore new creative ways to use them. Adding gold leaf to my watercolors is another favorite of mine. Later I taught many classes myself in Hilo, Hawaii.
